'The absolute value of romance' Kim Hyang-gi went to the emergency room.
In the Coupang Play series 'The absolute value of romance' released on the 1st, Ye Ui-ju (played by Kim Hyang-gi) was shown suddenly going to the emergency room.
As the long-awaited Murim Girls' High documentary shoot approached that day, Da-joo called Ui-ju and asked her to secretly film. Da-joo added, "What are you talking about again? Illegally. If you naturally leave the power on, she will naturally record the video."
When Ui-ju refused, Da-joo shook Ui-ju, saying, "You won't do this? Then our whole class will be cut. But I'm okay with being cut. But the gym teacher and the Korean teacher won't be okay?" and then whispered to Ui-ju, "The gym teacher's legs are bad so it's hard for them to find a job elsewhere, and the Korean teacher..."
Not only that, Da-joo said, "And I know everything, damn. Don't you know how quick my intuition is? I knew it from the start," and added, "Your rough thoughts and anxious look. I couldn't not know. I'll keep it a secret, so is it okay to film today?" and left, and Ui-ju was surprised and said, "How did you know I write novels?"
Before the full documentary shoot, the principal walked around the classroom asking for quiet, and on seeing Choi Ji-a (played by Yoon Hye-rim) lying on a desk without a uniform, the principal became angry. Seeing her lying on the desk without a school uniform, the principal finally told her to do self-study in the counseling room rather than the classroom, and Ga Woo-su (played by Cha Hak-yeon) stopped him.
Woo-su said, "Stay in the classroom," and in response to the principal's opposition he took a hard line, saying, "I don't think you should act as if the student doesn't exist. If you don't want Choi Ji-a to appear on the broadcast, then none of the students in our class will appear on the broadcast."
Following Da-joo's request, Ui-ju asked Woo-su, "I have a question. I heard you were told to teach at a famous foreign university, so why did you come to our school?" Woo-su responded curtly, "Can't you ask that after class?" but when the students in the class shouted, "Tell us!" Woo-su said, "The Olympiad teams form six-person teams and train together; we registered for admission and the first test is waiting for us."
At that moment Woo-su discovered a camera on top of a locker and then found a camera Ui-ju had placed inside her pencil case. Woo-su went to find No Da-joo (played by Kim Jae-hyun) and angrily asked, "No Da-joo, you had a student secretly film? Are you out of your mind?" and No Da-joo denied it, saying, "Secretly filmed? Who would do such an inconsiderate thing?"
But Woo-su said, "You want to point a camera at me like that? You?" and Da-joo replied, "When was that? You have to get over it, right? Will you be like that forever?"
At that point the principal called Ga Woo-su, and Ui-ju asked Gi-jeon (played by Son Jeong-hyeok) what had happened. Gi-jeon explained, "I don't know the details either, but when Woo-su was 10 years old he appeared on a TV show as a math prodigy and then was stalked."
Feeling sorry, Ui-ju followed Woo-su even after school and apologized, "I'm sorry for disappointing you," and then she collapsed on the spot. Startled, Woo-su carried Ui-ju and headed for the emergency room. Ui-ju suspected that the sudden trip to the emergency room meant she might have acute leukemia, and the doctor said, "This has been going on for quite a while. It's constipation. It's packed." which brought laughter.
Back home, Da-joo said to Woo-su, "Sorry. I know you don't like filming, and I said secretly filming and past things weren't a big deal," and Woo-su replied, "That was enough to know." Ui-ju also lay on the bed feeling the reality hit. She recalled Woo-su carrying her and added, "It was warm, cozy."
Ui-ju thought only Woo-su knew about the constipation news, but it had already spread to Gi-jeon, Dong-ju and Da-joo, and Ui-ju protested, "No, it's not true." Ui-ju also asked Da-joo, "You said you knew my secret yesterday, what was that?" but Da-joo brushed it off, saying, "What would I know? Your complexion has definitely improved."
Arriving at school, Woo-su and the absent Choi Ji-a were told to try getting closer to Ui-ju, and Ui-ju promised, "I won't betray your trust," and said she would slowly become closer.
That evening Ui-ju wrote episode 5 of "We were friends" to report to Woo-su in the library, and after reading everything, Woo-su said on the way home, "Write however you want. Write it your way, not what I said." When Ui-ju asked why Woo-su allowed her to write the novel, he said, "I think it's worth looking back at things that aren't rational or logical," and added, "I'm going to try to understand that kind of reckless move."
