The group Cortis (CORTIS) thanked fans after winning their first music show first place with "RedRed".
Cortis won first place with "RedRed" on the cable channel Mnet's "M Countdown," which aired on the 30th of last month.
The members holding the first-place trophy said, "It doesn't feel real," and "We had many goals and ambitions while preparing, but it feels like we achieved a result together with Core (the official fandom)," expressing their gratitude to fans.
Cortis pre-released the title track "RedRed" from their mini album 2, "GreenGreen (GREENGREEN)," which is set to be released on the 4th, and began promotions. Right from the start, they achieved a meaningful result by winning first place based on digital performance, global social media, fan votes and broadcasts alone, without any album points.
After the broadcast, Cortis also shared their first-place reactions during a live session with fans. The members said, "This is an award we've always wanted to receive since debut," and "It's meaningful and we are grateful to win first place before the mini album 2 release. Thanks to many people's blood, sweat, tears and love."
Cortis has taken first place for three consecutive days on Apple Music's "Today's Top 100: Korea" with "RedRed," and has also achieved strong results such as entering Spotify's "Daily Top Songs Global" Top 100 for two consecutive days.
Since debuting in August last year, Cortis has been building the team's distinctive color and exerting influence in not only the domestic but also the global music market. Having taken first place with the pre-released title track, expectations are high for their new release activities.
