Tonight (the 1st) at 9:40 p.m., episode 7 of the MBC Friday-Saturday drama Perfect Crown (written by Yoo Ji-won / directed by Park Joon-hwa, Bae Hee-young / planned by Kang Dae-seon / produced by MBC, Kakao Entertainment) will feature IAAN Daegun (Byeon Woo-seok) visiting Seong Hee-ju's (IU) main family home for a first meeting with his future in-laws.
Earlier, Seong Hee-ju and IAAN Daegun became an officially recognized engaged couple in one fell swoop after the surprise proposal at the inner court and the king's approval. As preparations for the state marriage slowly began, Seong Hee-ju and IAAN Daegun, after dining with Yoon Yi-rang (Gong Seung-yeon), also sit down with Seong Hee-ju's family.
In the released photos, Seong Hee-ju and IAAN Daegun visit the main house of Castle Group's Seong Hyun-guk (Cho Seung-yeon) and their stiff expressions draw attention. While Seong Hee-ju looks rigid with a hard expression as if uncomfortable being with the family, IAAN Daegun stands beside his prospective father-in-law Seong Hyun-guk appearing somewhat nervous but wearing a faint smile as he tries to win his trust.
However, despite those efforts, viewers are surprised when Seong Hee-ju, who had clashed with her father Seong Hyun-guk every time they met, suddenly storms out of the room. Seong Hee-ju's unexpected action quickly freezes the atmosphere around them, leaving viewers wondering whether the meal will end without incident.
Earlier, Seong Hee-ju and her father Seong Hyun-guk were portrayed as having long-standing conflicts. Seong Hee-ju was the daughter born to Seong Hyun-guk's mistress, and because she suddenly appeared in front of Seong Hyun-guk one day, the shocked lawful wife died.
