Rapper the late Jerry K (real name Kim Jin-il) died after battling a malignant brain tumor, and his wife offered a final farewell to fans.
On April 30, a post on Jerry K's social media said, "Thank you to everyone who loved Jerry K. Thanks to all the warm hearts, we were able to complete every step well."
The released photo showed Jerry K smiling brightly.
His wife went on, "We want to leave this space so that it can hold the memories of those who shared time with Jerry," and added, "We would appreciate it if you continue to remember Jerry without change."
Earlier, Jerry K had battled glioblastoma, a malignant brain tumor, for two years and died on the 27th of last month. He was 42.
A graduate of Seoul National University's department of communications and media, Jerry K debuted in 2001 in the rap duo Lo?ss? with rapper Maiksense, a high school classmate. He later was an original member of the hip-hop crew Soul Company and also worked as a solo artist.
