The group TWS achieved a million-seller for the first time since debut.
PLEDIS Entertainment Co. said on the 1st, "According to the music sales aggregation site Hanteo Chart, TWS's mini fifth album "No Tragedy (NO TRAGEDY)" recorded sales of 1,000,384 copies as of the 30th of last month."
With this, TWS surpassed cumulative sales of 1 million copies four days after the album's release, achieving a million-seller for the first time since debut. This is more significant because it was achieved through steady growth from mini album 1 (about 600,000 copies), mini album 2 (about 630,000 copies), and mini album 3 (about 820,000 copies).
TWS released the mini fifth album "No Tragedy" and made a comeback on the 27th of last month. Foreign media praise poured in for the new release.
The U.S. business magazine Forbes reviewed TWS's new release, saying, "Beloved for their sweet pop sound and youthful concept, TWS shows an even more advanced side through this album," and the British music magazine Clash rated it as "a clearer sense of what kind of story they want to tell."
TWS plans to carry out active promotions with the mini fifth album's title track "I Follow You (You, You)".
