Singer and actor Lee Seung Gi delivered heartwarming news that he will donate his entire appearance fee for "Donghaeng".
On the 1st, the child welfare organization ChildFund Korea said, "Lee Seung Gi decided to donate his appearance fee to families of children in need in Korea."
The appearance fee that Lee Seung Gi is donating is the full appearance fee for the KBS 1TV "Donghaeng" family month special airing on the 2nd, and Lee Seung Gi, who previously appeared on the Lunar New Year special of "Donghaeng" in 2015, participated in the family month special 11 years later, boasting a long connection.
Lee Seung Gi spent a day with Hyunseong and his family, who were diagnosed with developmental disabilities, on that broadcast. In particular, Lee Seung Gi visited the garden that had become an important living foundation for Hyunseong's family, carried water together, harvested the carefully tended crops and helped with the field work with all his might, according to reports.
Lee Seung Gi also visited Hyunseong's home and discussed what support the family might need. ChildFund Korea plans to use Lee Seung Gi's donation for Hyunseong's family and other families in need of support.
Meanwhile, Lee Seung Gi married actress Kyeon Mi Ri's daughter and actress Lee Yoo Bi's sister Lee Da In in 2023 and welcomed their first daughter in 2024. The couple, who announced the second pregnancy in February, are expecting a birth this year.<
