Hyokyeong, who was active as a member of the group ARIAZ, caused a stir by exposing the K-pop industry.
Hyokyeong recently uploaded a video on her personal YouTube channel and revealed things she had seen and experienced in the past.
That day Hyokyeong said, "When I was active as an idol, I actually saw a very messy situation. Of course, this is not something that happened at a major agency you all might know. They start with huge investments even before debuting," and said it was something that happened at a small agency.
She continued, "A member of another company's group was dating the agency head despite a huge age difference. And that member, despite lacking skills and popularity, always stood at the center or took the killing part."
Then Hyokyeong said, "This is not limited to idols. It happens to trainees and rookie actors as well. Fans probably couldn't understand why that member was center."
Meanwhile, ARIAZ, which Hyokyeong belonged to, is a girl group launched in 2019 by Star Empire's label Rising Star Entertainment. They halted activities in 2022.<
