Hyokyeong, who was active as a member of the group ARIAZ, made headlines by exposing the K-pop industry.
Hyokyeong recently uploaded a video to her personal YouTube channel and revealed the things she had seen and experienced in the past.
That day Hyokyeong said, "When I was active as an idol, I actually saw a very chaotic situation. Of course, this did not happen at a large agency you might know. They start with huge investments even before debuting" and said it occurred at a small agency.
She continued, "A member of another company's group was dating the agency CEO despite a huge age difference. And that member, despite lacking skill and popularity, was always placed at center or given the killing part."
She added, "These things are not limited to idols. They happen to trainees and new actors as well. Fans probably couldn't understand why that member was center."
Meanwhile, ARIAZ, which Hyokyeong belongs to, is a girl group launched in 2019 by Star Empire's label Rising Star Entertainment. They suspended activities in 2022.<
