'Jun Hyun-moo plan 3' former baseball player Hwang Jae-gyun candidly shared his thoughts on remarriage.
On the 1st episode of MBN 'Jun Hyun-moo plan season 3', Jun Hyun-moo, KwakTube and Hwang Jae-gyun were shown trying to recruit popular restaurants in Mungyeong, North Gyeongsang.
That day the three faced difficulties after a series of filming refusals. Restaurant owners declined to appear, saying, "If we are on the broadcast, too many customers will rush in and we can't handle it," and Jun Hyun-moo and KwakTube tried to persuade them, saying, "It's not that influential," but they ultimately failed.
After continued refusals, Jun Hyun-moo said, "Today is jinxed," and "If we strike out three times, we have to go back to Seoul," expressing his embarrassment, and the three even faced an "unprecedented situation" of being nearly 18 hours without food.
After twists and turns, they finally took a seat at a barbecue restaurant and the mood reversed. During the meal, conversation naturally turned to the topic of "marriage."
When asked about his intention to remarry, Hwang Jae-gyun frankly answered, "If I have the chance, I would like to do it again." He added, "I'll do it sooner than Jun Hyun-moo," drawing laughter, to which Jun Hyun-moo snapped, "I've never done it even once; are you going back-to-back?" turning the scene into a sea of laughter.
Hwang Jae-gyun also revealed why he hopes to remarry. "If the opportunity arises later, I want to have my own child," he said, expressing his desire for a second generation. He especially said, "If I have a child, I definitely want to make him play baseball. Even if it's hard, I can teach him myself," and added, "Just imagining him playing in the major leagues is wonderful," drawing attention.
Meanwhile, Hwang Jae-gyun married former T-ara member Ji-yeon in 2022, but they agreed to divorce in October 2024. He is currently preparing for a second life while continuing entertainment activities after retiring as a player.<
