Byeon Woo-seok and IU, leaving behind their unrequited love Noh Sang Hyun and crown princess Gong Seung-yeon, overcome trials and tribulations to hold their wedding ceremony.
"Perfect Crown"'s IU and Byeon Woo-seok become a true married couple.
Tonight (on the 1st) at 9:40 p.m., episode 7 of the MBC Friday-Saturday drama "Perfect Crown" (written by Yoo Ji-won / directed by Park Joon-hwa, Bae Hee-young / planned by Kang Dae-seon / produced by MBC, Kakao Entertainment) will feature the long-awaited splendid wedding of Seong Hee-joo (played by IU) and Grand Prince Ian (played by Byeon Woo-seok), marking the second act of the "completed" couple's romance.
Seong Hee-joo proposed a contract marriage to Grand Prince Ian to elevate her social status, and after he accepted, the two have been working together to achieve each other's goals. Although there was a crisis that threatened to cancel the contract marriage, they overcame it, and the feelings between Seong Hee-joo and Grand Prince Ian have grown deeper.
With Seong Hee-joo and Grand Prince Ian formally holding a state wedding before the entire nation, the contract marriage plan reaches its highlight. The released photos capture the beautiful wedding scenery of the "grand couple" that shakes the 21st century, making viewers' hearts flutter. The elegant and refined visuals of Seong Hee-joo and Grand Prince Ian, dressed gorgeously in wedding attire, immediately capture attention.
Especially, Seong Hee-joo's excited gaze as she proudly steps into the palace as the wife of Grand Prince Ian and a member of the royal family amplifies the romance. There is a strange exhilaration in Grand Prince Ian's gaze as he looks at Seong Hee-joo. The expressions and gazes they share are filled with sincerity toward each other rather than a contract marriage, raising anticipation for the unstoppable moves of the grand couple.
On the other hand, Prime Minister Min Jeong-woo (played by Noh Sang Hyun) and crown princess Yoon Yi-rang (played by Gong Seung-yeon), who watch the two, have faces hardened and create tension. Since both Min Jeong-woo and Yoon Yi-rang showed opposition to Seong Hee-joo and Grand Prince Ian's marriage, it is intriguing to see what kind of reaction the two, who show a different temperature inside a wedding hall full of blessings, will have toward the grand couple.
Meanwhile, Grand Princess ranked first among all Saturday programs with episode 6's most recent ratings at 11.3% in the metropolitan area and 11.2% nationwide (Nielsen Korea). Nationwide and 2054 ratings set new personal records, and notably the scene where Seong Hee-joo (played by IU) confesses directly to Grand Prince Ian (played by Byeon Woo-seok), saying "Do whatever you want," recorded a peak minute rating of 13.4%.
Including episode 7, which contains the couple's wedding, attention is focused on whether it can surpass 15% in the latter part.
