Actor Joo Hyun-young revealed conditions for a future husband and introduced her prospective newlywed home.
On Apr. 30, the channel 'Juyeon is Joo Hyun-young' uploaded a video titled "28-pyeong APT. Joo Hyun-young newlywed home virtual housewarming."
She greeted the production team warmly and said, "Hyocheong-dong's newlywed Joo Hyun-young," then corrected herself, "Actually, I kind of want to get married. I want to show that I'm a prepared woman, and I bought this place to live together. Actually, I didn't buy it; it's a monthly rental."
Joo Hyun-young introduced various places including the bedroom, bathroom, living room, kitchen and walk-in closet, and all the props were prepared as couple items. While playing the piano, Joo Hyun-young sang "Can I love you?" and appealed her charms for a future husband.
Joo Hyun-young said, "The living room is actually my favorite view," and added, "There's an elementary school in front, and even this morning I heard the children's laughter and running. Watching that was very healing."
When the production team asked, "Did you even think that far?", she replied, "I'm thinking of a daughter. I want to have a daughter who looks exactly like me," and said, "As for a husband, I'd prefer someone with double eyelids or pronounced features if possible." On a daughter's name, she laughed, "I want to give a corny name. Like (pet cat) Samsun or Yeongsim, maybe Sunsim, taking our pets' names?"
Boasting a Namsan Tower view, Joo Hyun-young said, "My home's view is a Namsan Tower view. Personally, I think the Namsan Tower view is much better than a Han River view." When the production team countered, "You can't see Namsan well," she imagined and made people laugh by saying, "Only one person can see it. But if you want to see it together, I can sit on my husband's lap."
Going to the kitchen, Joo Hyun-young had prepared rubber gloves for a future husband and said, "I don't hate doing the dishes either. I hope he likes doing the dishes," and added confidently, "To be honest, as a condition for a prospective husband, I want a live-in helper. I'll earn all the money myself."
Finally, when asked why she wants to get married, Joo Hyun-young said, "I thought I liked being alone, but doing this job made me realize that when I'm alone I think too much. Acting uses a lot of emotion and energy, so at home I get down and depressed and stop being active. I thought it would be good to have someone active beside me."
To the remark that "people these days also go a lot to matchmaking agencies," she added, "I'll believe in fate."<
