Singer Paul Kim expressed his feelings on being chosen as the DJ of 'Gayo Plaza' succeeding Lee Eunji.
On the 30th, Paul Kim said about becoming the new DJ of KBS Cool FM's 'Gayo Gwajang', "I am awaiting the first broadcast with a sense of responsibility and excitement."
Paul Kim said, "As a listener who used to enjoy radio and as a new DJ, I want to chat gently with many people and spend the lunch hour together," adding, "Being a morning person, the offer to be a daytime DJ was rather welcome."
'Gayo Gwajang' is a flagship KBS radio brand that started in 1986 and marks its 40th anniversary this year, and Paul Kim is expected to become the DJ of 'Gayo Plaza' from May 11, meeting listeners every day from noon to 2 p.m. He plans to communicate more closely with listeners not only through music but also through everyday stories and various segments.
O Gui-na, producer of 'Gayo Plaza', previewed, "Paul Kim's warm empathy and wit will pleasantly wake up the drowsiness of the lunch hour."
