Actor Han Ga-in recently confessed that her health was terrifyingly affected by a recurrence of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV).
On the afternoon of the 30th, a video titled "Han Ga-in mother and daughter mukbang harvesting clams in the mudflat and cooking kalguksu and ramyeon! (daughter is so cute)" was uploaded to the YouTube channel "Freewife Han Ga-in."
While digging for clams during the mudflat experience, Han Ga-in said, "I had BPPV, you know. But I was fine for about two years. It was completely gone, the BPPV," noting that she had no health problems for a while.
Han Ga-in added, "But the day before yesterday I woke up in the morning and the bed spun around six times 360 degrees. That day I was totally scared and thought, 'Oh no, the otoliths fell out again,' so I can't do yoga now. Because when I bow my head it spins (round and round)," explaining the tense situation at the time.
BPPV is a condition that causes severe dizziness as if the world is spinning whenever the head moves in certain directions. Clam harvesting, which requires bending the head, can be fatal for patients. Han Ga-in said, "But now I'm bending my head and harvesting these clams. Still, I went to the hospital that day to get treatment and I got a bit better," indicating she is currently somewhat recovered.
When the crew watching expressed concern, saying, "Still, how can you go on a mudflat experience with J?" Han Ga-in mentioned her daughter J and replied, "She's so excited. She wants to come," adding a warm moment.
