DAY6 member Wonpil will hold a special event.
Wonpil will hold his solo concert WONPIL SOLO CONCERT "Unpiltered" at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Songpa District, Seoul, for three days from May 1 to May 3.
This concert, the first solo show Pilmography in March 2022, was organized about 4 years and 2 months later and sold out all seats for every performance amid strong fan interest.
As the performance shares the same name as his solo album Unpiltered, released on March 30, the stage was reportedly designed to maximize the sense of presence so fans can vividly enjoy live performances of every track included on the record.
Known for vocals that highlight a distinctive lyrical quality and delicate sensibility that left a deep impression on listeners, he will carefully present a deeper musical world to the audience as a solo musician.
In addition to a highly polished stage, a meaningful viewing environment was created so Wonpil's voice and sincerity can reach all audience members. Wonpil's solo concert expanded barrier-free infrastructure to support attendees with hearing limitations.
In particular, JYP Entertainment is collaborating with the nonprofit Hearcircle to introduce the OraCast transmitter and receiver, a listening assistance system that can transmit audio to receivers without spatial limitations. This marks the first implementation of a listening assistance system among domestic entertainment companies and is expected to both enhance the sincerity of sustainable management and bring tangible changes by improving accessibility to performances.
Meanwhile, Wonpil debuted in 2015 as a member of DAY6 and has been active as a solo singer since 2022.<
