Netflix "Single's Inferno 5" breakout star Choi Mina-soo confesses on Kill It that "she is currently unemployed."
tvN's Kill It: Style Creator Wars has released a Highlight video that will thrill fashion survival fans.
The new tvN variety show Kill It: Style Creator Wars, premiering May 12 at 10:10 p.m., is a fashion creator survival program to discover the next-generation figures who will lead K-fashion trends. It is an ambitious work from CJ ENM, the prestigious company that produced legendary fashion survival shows such as Challenge! Supermodel Korea and Project Runway Korea, released after 10 years and attracting widespread interest.
Meanwhile, Kill It has drawn attention by releasing a Highlight video that foretells a seismic shift in Korea's fashion survival scene. The Highlight video begins by spotlighting fashion stars that CJ ENM has produced, including Shin Hyun-ji, Chi So-ra and Jung Ho-yeon, and heralds the birth of a "next-generation style icon" that is completely different from the runway- and editorial-centered conventions of the existing fashion world, creating a sensational impression.
At the same time, the diverse occupations of the 100 contestants who jumped into the survival contest are revealed, sparking interest. Contestants include influencers who travel global stages such as Yoo Hee-ra and Kim Ji-hoon; style creators who have swept social media such as Yu-bin, Kelly, Hye-yun and Dan; and contestants with a wide variety of occupations, including fashion designers, models, fashion brand CEOs, idols, Miss Korea winners, musicians, dancers, drag queens, stylists, set designers, space designers and visual artists.
Among them, the "Single's Inferno 5" controversial villain Choi Mina-soo even introduced herself as "unemployed?", raising expectations for a clash among contestants with different personalities, charms and backgrounds.
Earlier, Choi Mina-soo drew great attention by appearing on Netflix's "Single's Inferno 5," which was released in January earlier this year.
Choi Mina-soo comes from the 2021 Mistoria Seon (善) and has a record of winning the international beauty pageant Miss Earth. Choi Mina-soo, who participated in Channel A's 2022 competition Admission Battle: The Penthouse, appeared in TV CHOSUN's DNA Lover and Netflix's Melo Movie, and last year made a surprise appearance as Lee Jong-suk's blind date on the tvN weekend drama Law and The City.
Thanks in particular to her activities on "Single's Inferno 5," Choi Mina-soo ranked first for three consecutive weeks in the TV-OTT non-drama cast popularity category of the FUNdex released by Good Data Corporation in the second week of February.
Meanwhile, Kill It also highlights the three label leaders who will act as mentors to the 100 style creators who have stepped out of SNS into the real world. From Black Label's Jang Yoon-ju, Lee Jong-won and Tomorrow X Together's Yeonjun to White Label's Cha Jeong-won and Shin Hyun-ji, and Red Label's An Ah-reum and Yang Gaeng, the strongest fashion symbols of the present have gathered in one place, raising expectations for an unprecedented fashion survival show.
Above all, the contestants' combative appearances as they embark on full-scale missions grab attention. The 100 contestants, showered with countless camera flashes, spare nothing from shocking styling to bold posing to prove their own styles. They run through the backstage to shine with perfect star quality on stage, tear clothes without hesitation, even shave their heads, and abandon everything, making them impossible to look away from. Moreover, with fierce confrontations with competitors, tears and even physical fights, the intense bloodbath of 100 contestants reminiscent of gladiators in a colosseum sends survival show fans' dopamine soaring.
Which single name and single style will survive on the judges' stage seeking a new style icon to shake the K-fashion scene? The fashion survival show Kill It, returning after 10 years, is drawing attention.<
