Actor Park Jeong-soo revealed that she even built a building in Apgujeong for her husband, director Jeong Eul-young.
On the 29th, a video titled "The real reason Park Jeong-soo built a building in Apgujeong?!" was posted on Park Jeong-soo's personal YouTube channel "Wenmanciaseon Jeongsureul Makeul Su Eopda." The released video showed Park Jeong-soo cleaning a studio in the building she built in Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
Park Jeong-soo built the building in 2011. It was located right in front of the Apgujeong Galleria Department Store, placing it in one of Seoul's representative wealthy neighborhoods. In particular, she said she built the place as a studio for her husband, director Jeong Eul-young, which surprised viewers.
But she quickly joked, "He stopped working as soon as it was built. He didn't work and only drank." She added, "There are times when I focus on reading a script or a book or spending time alone. I use it as a place for that."
The studio was configured as a duplex and even had a skylight where you could see the sky. About that, Park Jeong-soo laughed, "I made it so my husband can lie down and look at the sky. But in summer it becomes like a sauna. It's only nice in spring, autumn and winter."
Park Jeong-soo married a businessman ex-husband in 1975 and had two children, but they divorced. Since 2009, she has been in a common-law relationship with popular drama director Jeong Eul-young PD. Jeong Eul-young PD is the father of actor Jung Kyungho, and Jung Kyungho is also known to treat Park Jeong-soo like his biological mother.
