'Okmunah' broadcaster Kim Shin-young revealed an unfunny real estate episode along with a relationship that continued from her 'true fan' days toward senior Kim Sook.
On the 30th episode of KBS2 Problem Child in House, Kim Shin-young unleashed her wit.
That day Kim Shin-young recalled, "In my third year of high school I was shocked when I saw the 'slap girl' character," and "the rebellious character was so cool that I looked up senior Kim Sook everywhere." She added, "I joined the fan cafe and my nickname was 'Gagssanyong'," and "I sent a message saying I wanted to become a comedian and she replied. Her encouragement was a great help."
In response Kim Sook replied, "I'm so proud that a friend who said it was her dream to stand on the same stage as me has done so well," showing their warm senior-junior relationship.
But the mood reversed in the ensuing talk. Song Eun I exposed, "Kim Shin-young trusted Kim Sook and suffered many losses."
Kim Shin-young confessed, "I wanted to buy a house in Eungbong-dong but senior Kim Sook said 'a second IMF is coming' so I didn't buy it. Then redevelopment happened and the price rose eightfold." She added, "I also gave up on Ungyang-dong in Gimpo because they said a subway wouldn't be built, but later it was," drawing laughter.
The episode about the Mapo Five-way intersection apartment was particularly striking. Kim Shin-young said, "I was going to buy a Han River view apartment that cost 800 million won at the time, but senior Kim Sook said house prices would fall, so I chose a long-term lease (jeonse)," and "a year later it became 1.7 billion won," surprising everyone.
From fan to colleague, and even to sharing life advice(?), the two continued their relationship. The warm and uproarious bond between Kim Shin-young and Kim Sook brought laughter once again.
