The momentum of rookie global hip-hop group H//PE Princess, who are about to make their official debut, is not ordinary.
Hype Princess is a seven-member global hip-hop group made up of Coco, YSY (Yoon Seoyoung), Yujoo, Doi, Rino, Niko and Sujin. They are the first artist of Chapter-I, jointly established by CJ ENM and Hakuhodo, Ameba Culture took part in co-management, and they have even signed a global contract with Warner Music Group, drawing attention even before their debut.
Ahead of their official debut, Hype Princess, which has been sequentially releasing concept photos that capture a school mood and street sensibility and revealing a free and confident team color, will release their first mini album, 17.7, on May 27 and make their first step into the music scene.
Prior to this, Hype Princess pre-released the title track Stolen as a digital single on the 29th. The song was produced with Dynamic Duo's Gaeko as producer; Gaeko proposed lyrics based on the members' real stories, and he guided the overall creative work on the album by developing together the material the members themselves wrote.
Hype Princess announced the start of a new form of global hip-hop group differentiated from the existing ones. The music video unveiled with Stolen fully captured the free and hip mood that Hype Princess aims for.
The stylish video direction and trendy styling combined with each member's individuality left a strong impression, and the addictive melody that grabs the ear at once has been met with responses that it is enough to attract the attention of global listeners.
The melody that makes you hum after hearing it just once and the performance that makes shoulders move raise expectations for a future challenge craze, focusing attention on the steps Hype Princess will take after their official debut.
