Son Hyunjoo appears as Dr. Ha Wondo in the new Netflix series Wonderfuls, which will be released on May 15.
Wonderfuls is a work that tells the story of a group of bumbling locals who gained superpowers after an unexpected incident in 1999, when apocalyptic thinking prevailed, struggling to protect the world against villains who threaten peace.
As a superpower adventure in which unpredictable incidents of clumsy superpowered people continue, it is expected to bring viewers cheerful laughter while also evoking nostalgia for those days.
In the work, Son Hyunjoo plays Dr. Ha Wondo, a doctor who has been secretly researching superpowers. Ha Wondo is a character who has dark desires beneath a cold and rational exterior.
Earlier, Park Eunbin had teased appearing as Haesung City's official troublemaker Eun Chaeni, and Cha Eun-woo had announced appearing as parachute special hire civil servant Lee Unjung.
