On the evening of the 29th, Tang Wei announced the second pregnancy on her personal social media and posted her feelings.

As Chinese foreign media raised speculation about a second pregnancy, a representative for Tang Wei told OSEN, "It is true that she is currently pregnant with her second child. We ask for your understanding that the delivery timing and the fetus's sex are personal matters that are difficult to disclose," making an official statement.
In 2014, Tang Wei married Korean film director Kim Tae-yong, whom she met during the film Late Autumn. The couple, who welcomed their first daughter, Samoh Yang, in 2016, are receiving support as Tang Wei miraculously became pregnant with a second child at the age of 47, 10 years later.
