In 'Countryside village Lee Jang-woo season 3,' actor Lee Jang-woo drew laughs with news that he has gained weight after marriage.
On the 29th, MBC's new variety show 'Countryside village Lee Jang-woo season 3 (abbreviated Countryside village 3)' premiered. On that day, on 'Countryside village 3' Lee Jang-woo revealed his condition as his first variety show appearance after marriage.
'Countryside village 3' is the third regional revitalization project to transform Buan, where actor Lee Jang-woo ran to find the West Sea's rice thief, into a place to run around, eat, and return to, seeking Buan's warm affection and rich flavors. In particular, 'Countryside village 3' is drawing attention as the first variety show appearance by Lee Jang-woo, who married his long-time girlfriend, actress Jo Hye-won, in November last year, as a newlywed.
That day, Lee Jang-woo, visiting Buan for the first time, roamed the village. After a tour that filled both hands and heart, Lee Jang-woo headed to the Gomso seafood market. Looking at the rows of dried fish along the beach, Lee Jang-woo swallowed his saliva, saying, "The sea looks like it made the jeotgal taste delicious." Extra-large eels and Buan specialty pulchi especially caught attention. Seeing the cheap specialty pulchi sold for only 10,000 won per row, Lee Jang-woo shouted, "Found a rice thief." Market merchants welcomed him, still chanting the character 'O Ja-ryong,' Lee Jang-woo's breakout role from about 10 years ago, saying, "Did Mr. O Ja-ryong come?"
Lee Jang-woo also visited Buan's famous bakery. It was a place that sells its signature salt-steamed buns using salt harvested from the Gomso salt fields right in front. There were even travelers who came from Ulsan for that. The bakery owner said, "It feels like fate. My younger sibling also resembles him," creating a sense of familiarity.
To this, Lee Jang-woo laughed, "People who say I resemble them usually weigh over 100 kg." The baker who actually appeared, his younger sibling Kim Jong-woo, boasted 108 kg. Lee Jang-woo rejoiced, saying, "I'm 103 kg. I win," adding to the laughter.
Lee Jang-woo had said his weight was 102 kg on the MBC variety show I Live Alone's sports day special, which he appeared on in October last year before his marriage. It seemed he had lost weight for the wedding, but his weight increased again after marriage, and his appearance of happiness over his marriage to Jo Hye-won drew laughs.
