The group EPEX's 'Sohwa (韶華)' series comes to an end.
EPEX (Wish·Mu·Amin·Baekseung·Aiden·Yewang·Jeff) will release their seventh mini album 'Sohwa (韶華) : Epilogue (Sohwa : Epilogue)' and make a comeback sometime in June.
'Sohwa : Epilogue' is the album that crowns the Sohwa series EPEX has continued since 2024. Sohwa (韶華) means the scenery of a sunny spring and youth. Earlier, EPEX began with their 2024 full-length album Sohwa chapter 1: youth days, then released Sohwa chapter 2: youth deficit, and Sohwa chapter 3: romantic youth, completing a three-part full-length album series.
Meanwhile, EPEX will wrap up the series spanning about 2 years and 2 months with 'Sohwa : Epilogue.' At 12 a.m. on the 29th, EPEX released a poster image announcing the comeback via their official social media. The poster features a completed image that connects the spring landscapes that adorned the physical album covers of the earlier Sohwa series into one, drawing attention.
This poster's artwork was entirely created by illustrator Knysh Ksenya, who is active primarily in Moscow, Russia, and realized a soft color palette using watercolor. The image, which leaves a deep impression even in its concise expression, heightens expectations for EPEX's new activities. Specific information about 'Sohwa : Epilogue' will be revealed sequentially through teasers.
Meanwhile, EPEX, who debuted in 2021, has built a distinct world view by singing about realistic emotions and stories of the brightest times, moving from boys' anxiety and love to youths' deficits and romance. Last year, they left an impression with lyrical yet refreshing musical colors through activities for the title track of their third full-length album 'Thank you to the point of tears,' and they earned praise from domestic and international listeners with the new song so nice, a collaboration with the U.S. retro synth-pop duo joan.
They then successfully completed the 2025 fancon tour in Seoul, Tokyo and Macau titled ROMANTIC YOUTH, and met local fans at the Japanese fan club Zenith Japan's 2nd anniversary party, ZENITH JAPAN 2nd ANNIVERSARY PARTY. In June this year, along with their comeback, they are scheduled to appear at the 2026 MyK FESTA's MyK LIVE, and they are expected to continue active activities by performing at the Eastern Europe K-pop festival KBK FEST in August.
