The group TWS's new mini album "NO TRAGEDY" is receiving praise from major overseas media outlets, proving its solid position as a global trend.
Forbes ran a review on the 27th that said, "TWS, who have been loved for their sweet pop sound and youthful concept, show a more advanced side through this album," and "they maintain the 'boyhood pop' color based on refreshing, energetic sounds and performances, while expanding toward a forward-moving approach to love that stirs excitement," praising them highly.
British music magazine Clash also said, "Rather than defining themselves by a fixed image, they are creating their unique color based on the time accumulated in the flow of experience. They seem much clearer about what story they want to tell," and focused on their more mature musical attitude.
Praise for their broadened musical spectrum continued. U.S. lifestyle outlet Sweety High detailed the tracks that boldly experimented with various genres such as house and R&B and noted TWS's growth. Bandwagon Asia mentioned the title track "I'll follow you (You, You)"'s sophisticated sound and the addictive chorus "Dda-rum," saying, "TWS are not simply following trends but creating them," giving high marks. Philippine private broadcaster ABS-CBN also revisited the excitement of the "angtal challenge" that was a hot topic at the 2025 Asia Artist Awards (AAA) and predicted explosive growth through this new release.
Along with the streak of praise from foreign media, their domestic results are also setting new personal bests day after day. TWS's fifth mini album "NO TRAGEDY" sold 833,138 copies on its first day, the 27th, and jumped to No. 1 on Hanteo Chart's daily album chart. This figure easily surpassed the cumulative sales of their previous release in a single day, proving a perfect "career high." On streaming charts, the title track and the tracks "I will become all your possibilities" and "Why You So Bad?" entered Melon's "Top 100," demonstrating formidable popularity.
Meanwhile, riding the success of their comeback, TWS will continue the momentum with music show stages starting on the 30th on Mnet's "M Countdown." In addition, a special pop-up store celebrating the new release, set up on the first floor of HYBE's building in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, will operate through the 2nd of next month.
