The group CIX is ending team activities.
C9 Entertainment said on the 29th through the official fan cafe, "Since debuting on July 21, 2019, CIX, who have been with fans through various activities for the past seven years, will now stop team activities."
It continued, "After months of serious and in-depth discussions to continue activities with the members and as a team, at present everyone has agreed that halting the team's operations is inevitable," adding, "Because we put our sincerity into the CIX brand and gave our all to music, choreography, videos, performances and broadcasts, both the members and the company are very regretful about this decision."
Accordingly, members BX and Seunghun will have their exclusive contracts end as of April 30. Also, member Yonghee applied for voluntary enlistment after the decision to suspend team activities and will enlist on May 11 to fulfill his defense duty as an active-duty soldier in the army. Yonghee's exclusive contract will also end upon his enlistment.
Member Hyunseok will receive support from the agency for related work so he can focus on the drama he is currently filming, and his exclusive contract will end on May 31.
Thus, CIX, which debuted in July 2019, has disbanded just before its seventh anniversary. Previously, member Bae Jinyoung left the team in August 2024 when his exclusive contract with the agency ended.

This is a notice regarding CIX's future activities.
Since debuting on July 21, 2019, CIX, who have been with fans through various activities for the past seven years, will now stop team activities.
