Hollywood top actor Charlize Theron (50) candidly confessed her firmly held views on dating and her deep affection for her two daughters, drawing attention.
Charlize Theron recently appeared on the Drew Barrymore Show, sharing unvarnished thoughts on dating, parenting and her future life, capturing fans' attention.
On that broadcast, Theron clearly stated her philosophy on her current dating life. She said, "It may sound like a joke but I'm serious. I don't think I can live with someone again," she made a bombshell declaration(?) that surprised listeners.
Theron added, "It would be nice if the other person lived next door, but I don't think I could share the same space," and added, "Maybe it's because my daughters are still at home, and my thinking might change after the children become independent, but for now I want a very specific (independent) relationship."
What drew particular attention was that the ones who most enthusiastically support her dating are her two daughters. Theron said, "The kids are now old enough to enjoy mom's dating. Before, I worried the kids would feel threatened, but now they egg me on saying, 'Mom, did that person text you? Go on the date!'" sharing a delightful everyday story.
Theron, who adopted and is raising her two daughters Jackson (14) and August (11) alone, also displayed candid commentary about parenting. Appearing on a recent podcast, she described her children entering puberty as "a hormonal nightmare. From the moment I set foot in the house I'm getting a hard time from my daughters," jokingly voicing her struggles that resonated with many parents.
But the children are always Theron's top priority. In past interviews she also revealed her firm values about family, saying, "Even when dating, I have always been honest with partners that adoption is my first choice in life." She has also said that, as someone from the Republic of South Africa raising two Black daughters, she constantly educates them about equality and human rights.
Meanwhile, Theron has been actively working on projects recently, including the Netflix film Old Guard 2 and the action thriller Apex.
