The band Lucy (LUCY) makes a full-group comeback today (29th).
Lucy will release their second full-length album Childish at 6 p.m. on the 29th on various music streaming sites and return as a complete group.
Childish is the first full-group album Lucy member Shin Gwang-il is releasing after his discharge, and it depicts the process of preserving one's true self in a bleak reality and rediscovering our endlessly childish and pure innocence. In Lucy's style of emotion, it traces the process of finding "innocence" and connects the narrative with the first full-length album Childhood.
The title track is "All ages welcome." This song features Lucy's characteristic energetic band sound and hopeful lyrics. It expresses a reluctance to become an adult, and compares the things one loses one by one when facing an adult world different from the world seen in childhood to horns. Member Jo Won-sang participated in the lyrics, composition and arrangement, capturing Lucy's unique sensibility.
This new release includes five new songs: the title track "All ages welcome," "Germination," "Chameleon," "Porch Light (Feat. Nam Jae-hyun)," and "Gugujeoljeol," as well as the mini-album 6 "Wajangchang" re-recorded to include Shin Gwang-il's voice, and tracks from mini-album 7 "Seon."
After releasing their second full-length album Childish, Lucy will hold a solo concert, LUCY 9th CONCERT 'ISLAND', at KSPO DOME in Bangi-dong, Songpa District, Seoul, on May 16-17.
