According to her agency on the 28th, a person surnamed Gu-reum will hold a solo concert titled What If at 6 p.m. on May 16 at Vel.r (formerly Vellouz) in Hongdae, Mapo-gu, Seoul.
The key word for this concert is "parallel universe." Based on the unique concept of "what if ㅇㅇㅇ were ㅇㅇㅇ?", Gu-reum will reinterpret songs by other artists that she composed and worked on, presenting them with her own voice and sensibility. Breaking away from concerts focused on album tracks, it is expected to be a special time where audiences can simultaneously meet Gu-reum the producer and Gu-reum the singer-songwriter.
Gu-reum successfully completed a series of solo concerts in February and March to celebrate the release of her fourth studio album, proving her unique musical world. At that time, she drew praise from audiences with diverse productions spanning band sound to piano and wind instruments.
Recently, she stepped up her global activities by releasing a Japanese version of "Lost items of winter," a track from her fourth domestic studio album Airplane Mode. This What If concert is expected to be an opportunity to see Gu-reum's wide musical spectrum at a glance, based on the vast body of work she has accumulated.
