Actress Han Da-gam became pregnant with her first child six years after marriage, achieving the record for the oldest pregnancy in the entertainment industry.
Han Da-gam announced her pregnancy personally on the 28th by posting a long handwritten letter on her personal SNS.
"While working as an actress for a long time, this is the first time I am posting with these feelings and emotions," she opened, and said, "I debuted in my 20s and was busy, looking only ahead; I got married at 41, and in the sixth year of marriage this year, by heaven's blessing I became pregnant," she revealed.
Han Da-gam said, "Even now it doesn't feel real, but it's true," and joyfully said, "I became the oldest mother in the entertainment industry." She said, "I am so, so grateful and wanted to share this wondrous moment with everyone, so I posted this," and laughed, "Based on examples so far, I think I may currently be the oldest mother among actresses in the entertainment industry."
She continued, "I am so, so grateful for giving me such a great blessing and gift at this late stage," and confessed, "After finishing a play last year, wanting to achieve the best condition for the result, I visited hospitals in advance and prepared meticulously; as a result of the effort, thankfully I succeeded with just one in vitro fertilization."
