Hip-hop artist Gunwoo (GUNWOO) set the stage ablaze at Myanmar's largest festival, "Thingyan," marking a successful global debut.
In April, Gunwoo performed at the "K-POP WAVE FEST in THINGYAN" held in Yangon, Naypyidaw and Mandalay, captivating local fans with his signature powerful performance.
This stage is significant because it was Gunwoo's first time participating in Myanmar's symbolic festival, "Thingyan." Gunwoo projected overwhelming charisma and energy on stage, boosting the heat of the现场.
The concert, organized through the cooperation of KK Media and C.S.T Myanmar, featured Gunwoo alongside K-pop artist Henny (HENNY) and rookie girl group E11iVYN (E11iVYN), delivering dazzling performances that crossed genres. Thousands of audience members waved their hands to the music in response, and the combination of Thingyan's characteristic water-festival atmosphere and Gunwoo's live performance turned the venue into a huge festival.
After the performance, Gunwoo said, "It was an honor to perform on such a large stage in Myanmar," adding, "Thanks to the passion of the local fans, I gained even more strength. I hope to connect with fans in many more countries going forward."
Gunwoo plans to use this performance as a springboard to actively expand his activities beyond the Southeast Asian market to the global stage.
