Lee Sang-min delivered laughs with his singular ability to inhabit characters and his witty banter.
Lee Sang-min perfectly transformed into the musical god of "Chungmanhan Enter" on SBS's "Wait, but seriously!" broadcast on the 27th.
That day, when the members worried about schedules, he asked Kai, "If you're going to appear as a guest at EXO's concert, please just close your eyes once," prompting laughter. He then watched with interest as Son Dam-bi and Lee Suji, who had come to audition, competed for the lone female spot. When Tak Jae-Hoon provoked Son Dam-bi about her dancing, Lee Sang-min encouraged her, saying, "You're still alive," and even led the "Are you crazy" choreography, directing the talk.
Meanwhile, Lee Sang-min showed his trademark wit while discussing contract clauses with Kai, proposing prohibitions ranging from dating to marriage. When Kai asked about the contract term, he replied, "a lifetime contract," and when Kai objected to the marriage ban, saying, "Everyone here has done it, so why can't I?" he amended it to "one marriage," their whirlwind back-and-forth bringing smiles to viewers.
Then, in the segment switched to the "Bad Guys" concept, Lee Sang-min, immersing himself as the "Crown faction's I Ssang-gal henchman action leader," welcomed his 20-year close friends Shin Seong-rok and Ha Do-gwon. Introducing Ha Do-gwon as a Seoul National University alumnus, Lee Sang-min quipped, "If he didn't sing, you wouldn't know he's from Seoul National University," eliciting laughter.
Lee Sang-min also flustered Ha Do-gwon by saying, "That's subjective. I think you got here because you're good, not because of Shin Seong-rok," and when Ha Do-gwon protested that it wasn't thanks to Shin Seong-rok, Lee Sang-min counterpunched, "Would the director say that in front of you?" making viewers laugh. In addition, Lee Sang-min drew out a twisty anecdote in which Ha Do-gwon scared off Japanese delinquents with a single line from an animation.
