Born in 1984, Jerry.K graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in communications and information, and debuted in 2001 in the rap duo Loads with high school classmate rapper Maiksense. As an original member of the hip-hop crew Soul Company, he continued to criticize reality through his rap after Soul Company disbanded, establishing the independent label "Daze Alive Music" and digging into many aspects of Korean society.
