After seven years, the full reunited Wanna One's real variety show is finally being released for the first time.
The return of legends, Wanna One's new 24 hours finally lifts the veil.
The global K-pop content platform Mnet Plus original reality "WANNA ONE GO : Back to Base" (hereafter "Wanna One Go: Back to Base") premieres today (28th) at 6 p.m., and episode 1 depicts the full-scale "Wanna Base" entry of Wanna One along with behind-the-scenes of the opening ceremony D-day. It will be first released at 6 p.m. on Mnet Plus and will air on Mnet at 8 p.m.
First, behind-the-scenes of the "opening ceremony" that heated up Sangam-dong on the 6th will be revealed. From the waiting room scene full of laughter among members who reunited after a long time, to the excitement and nervousness of meeting Wannables again after seven years, and the emotional changes leading up to the moment they step on stage, all will be fully captured.
Next, the upgraded hideout "Wanna Base" will be unveiled. Individual rooms completed to reflect each member's tastes and personalities capture attention with even more glamorous concepts than before. Also revealed for the first time is the season's key device, the giant gacha "Eurat Gatcha." This device, which can be used 11 times a day, is expected to add fresh fun by leading members into unpredictable situations through random capsules.
The unchanged chemistry among the members is also a highlight. Park Woo-jin said, "I think I'm past the age to play with those things (toys)," but reportedly turned the set into a sea of laughter with an "incongruent words-and-actions" side that genuinely enjoyed toys more than anyone. Their still boisterous, chaotic, and cheerful 모습 evokes nostalgia for "Wanna One Go" from nine years ago and raises fans' expectations for the story of Wanna One that will begin again.
In particular, the teaser released ahead of the main broadcast raises curiosity with unpredictable developments. It captures moments from members breaking into collective tears to the members instantly becoming respectful at the appearance of master director Jang Hang-jun, who represents Korea. A scene shows a member saying in disbelief, "The members all become abnormal," unable to hide his embarrassment, portraying sudden actions, which heightens anticipation about what happened in "Wanna Base" in the main broadcast.
