Broadcaster Seo Yuri said she experiences panic attacks over past wedding photos with her ex-husband, producer Choi Byung-gil.
Seo Yuri said on the 27th, "Please stop using those wedding photos. I get panic attacks. I just had a really intense panic attack and it was hard."
Some media outlets showed discomfort using the couple's past wedding photos when covering articles about Seo Yuri and producer Choi Byung-gil.
Seo Yuri married producer Choi Byung-gil in 2019 but divorced in June 2024. The two had financial disputes during the divorce process, and after the divorce Seo Yuri claimed Choi Byung-gil repaid only 300 million won of the 600 million won he had borrowed from her and demanded repayment of the remaining amount. She also said she assumed debt of 2.0 billion won during the divorce process and repaid about 1.3 billion won.
Since then, the couple's financial issues have not been resolved and they have continued to argue. Recently, Seo Yuri even made the divorce agreement public and repeatedly urged Choi Byung-gil to repay the money he had agreed to pay in advance.
In the agreement, Choi Byung-gil promised to pay Seo Yuri a total of 323 million won by Dec. 31, 2024, and agreed that if payment was delayed, interest would be added at an annual rate of 12% from Jan. 1, 2025. The agreement also included a clause that if Choi Byung-gil failed to make the payment, Seo Yuri could seek payment of the amount through separate litigation.
