Actor Jo Woo-ri grants a role in SBS's Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Sold Out Again Today'.
Today (28th) her agency FN Entertainment said, "Actor Jo Woo-ri grants a role in SBS's new Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Sold Out Again Today. Please show a lot of interest in Jo Woo-ri, who captures viewers' attention with solid acting in every work."
'Sold Out Again Today' (directed by Ahn Jong-yeon, written by Jin Seung-hee) is a drama about perfectionist farmer Matthew Lee (Ahn Hyo Seop) and consummate sales host Dam Ye-jin (Chae Won-bin) whose lives intertwine day and night, delivering a seasonal romance of excitement for "workaholic sellers".
In the drama, Jo Woo-ri plays Moon Ae-ra, the owner of 'Moon Cafe,' the only coffee supplier in Deokpung village. Moon Ae-ra was a top student and student council president and has never missed out on good things; she appears prickly because of her exceptional pride but is warm inside. Cast as the sharp-tongued owner of Deokpung village, Jo Woo-ri's chemistry with the villagers is expected to provide rich entertainment in the story.
In particular, through this work Jo Woo-ri is expected to show a surprising charm different from her previous urban image by delivering strong dialect acting. Jo Woo-ri's charming performance, which will breathe life into the character, is expected to be the "kick" that energizes the drama's development.
Jo Woo-ri has built her filmography by appearing in notable works such as 'That Guy Is the Guy,' 'True Beauty of Love, Wonderful Life,' 'My ID is Gangnam Beauty,' 'Witch's Court,' and 'Descendants of the Sun.' Having demonstrated her presence by playing diverse characters, expectations are growing about what kind of performance Jo Woo-ri will deliver in 'Sold Out Again Today.'
