"Euphoria" cast dismissed rumors of a rift between Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney.
Jessica Blear Herman, an actor who appears in the U.S. HBO series "Euphoria season 3," said on Good Day New York on the 27th (local time) that the atmosphere on set was "everyone got along well."
Herman emphasized, "It really was. I'm not just saying that," and, "there was no drama at all." She added, "They really have created a beautiful working relationship, and everyone wants to work, comes to set and wants to do their job."
This was a comment meant to dismiss rumors of a rift between Euphoria cast members Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney. According to Herman, the two had very few scenes together.
Herman said, "To be fair, when I was there they weren't filming the same scenes. The storylines are very separate, and shoots often took place on different days," adding, "When 'Euphoria' ends, people will probably breathe a sigh of relief at being able to go their separate ways. But both will continue to work in Hollywood for decades, and that competitive dynamic will ultimately continue."
Earlier, The Sun suggested there was bad blood between Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney, sparking the rift rumors after a group photo taken during season 3 filming omitted Sweeney. But according to sources, Sweeney was on set filming at the time.
Another source also dismissed the rift rumors between the two actors, saying, "Both are in high demand and continue to work."
Meanwhile, "Euphoria season 3," produced after a five-year hiatus, has received harsh criticism from fans, who called it "disgusting" and "a mistake that should not have been made."
