Artist HENNY strengthened her global foothold in the heart of Myanmar.
HENNY successfully completed the 'K-POP WAVE FEST in THINGYAN' stage, which began in Yangon on April 13 and continued to Naypyidaw and Mandalay, concluding a tour of Myanmar's three major cities.
Following 2024, HENNY once again took the stage at Myanmar's largest festival, 'Thingyan,' this year, setting a record of being invited two years in a row and proving her unrivaled popularity locally. In particular, this time the event was held as a large-scale tour covering not only Yangon but also Naypyidaw and Mandalay, further solidifying her position as a global artist.
The venue, filled with thousands of spectators, erupted in thunderous cheers the moment HENNY appeared. Fans chanted "HENNY!" in unison and sang along in halting Korean, "saranghae, saranghae" (I love you, I love you), creating a moving spectacle. HENNY reciprocated with her signature bright and energetic performance, and the dazzling stage, combined with the refreshing atmosphere unique to the water festival, was more than enough to raise the heart rates of local fans.
The concert, made possible by the collaboration between KK Media and C.S.T Myanmar, added richness with a diverse lineup that crossed genres. Leading the bill was HENNY, joined by hip-hop artist Gunwoo (GUNWOO) and rookie girl group E11iVYN. Artists with different charms came together to create synergy, and the event was praised for spreading the essence of K-pop to the local Myanmar audience.
After successfully finishing the stage, HENNY said, "It was truly meaningful and an honor to participate again in Myanmar's biggest festival," adding, "I sincerely thank you for the great love you have shown me, and I hope to meet you more often on various stages in the future."
HENNY has completely dominated Myanmar's three major cities and emerged as a "blue chip" in the Southeast Asian market.
