aespa wrapped up its Japan dome tour amid a "syndromic" level of enthusiasm.
aespa held "2026 aespa LIVE TOUR - SYNK : aeXIS LINE - in JAPAN [SPECIAL EDITION DOME TOUR]" at Tokyo Dome in Japan on April 25 and 26.
aespa launched an arena tour of about 10,000 seats across major Japanese regions including Fukuoka, Tokyo, Aichi and Osaka, starting last August with a KSPO DOME concert at Olympic Park in Seoul, and toured Asia as far as Bangkok, Hong Kong, Macau and Jakarta. In addition, they performed a total of 25 shows including Kyocera Dome and Tokyo Dome, proving their overwhelming ticket power, drawing 76,000 over two days at Kyocera Dome in their first appearance there and 94,000 at Tokyo Dome, reaching a total of 170,000 attendees from this dome tour alone.
aespa signaled the full start with their signature song "Amaggedon" and opened with powerful performances that continued with "ATTITUDE" and "Kill It." Having already taken the Tokyo Dome stage for the third time since their debut, aespa greeted the audience as a group and looked at fans warmly while sharing their thoughts.
First, Karina said, "It's already the last day. From Kyocera Dome to Tokyo Dome, we've been on stage with the mindset of showing the most aespa-like selves. Today we'll properly show what we do best." Winter, too, expressed regret that it was the final day at Tokyo Dome, saying, "We're going to pour even our regrets into the stage today. Please enjoy together."
aespa raised the heat at Tokyo Dome by performing "Drift" and "Dirty Work," and solo stages by the members followed, beginning with Karina appearing in a school uniform and continuing with Ningning, Winter and Giselle. In addition, unit stages continued to heat up Tokyo Dome, including Karina and Winter's sexy "Serenade" and Giselle and Ningning's pink, dreamy "Lollipop."
Regarding the unit song "Serenade," Winter said, "As a special edition song, it was the first unit song we tried since our debut, so we also had a lot of fun working on it. We prepared it for you, but it also became a really precious experience for us, so I'm very happy."
Ningning, regarding the duet "Lollipop" she sang with Giselle, said, "Giselle unnie and I made it in a hotel while touring in 2024. We liked the melody and the mood so much that we thought we'd like to finish it and play it for you later, and I'm so, so happy we could present it at Tokyo Dome," adding, "We'll bring you more good songs in the future," raising expectations.
aespa changed the mood and continued with the bubbly "Hot Air Balloon" and "Bubble," and in particular the members rode a torrotco to get close to fans and continued interacting.
Following performances that emphasized their distinctive "metallic edge," aespa presented immersive VCR videos and an overwhelming scale of setlists, once again proving why they boast syndromic-level popularity. Especially in the hit parade that followed with "Rich Man," "Next Level," "Supernova" and "Whiplash," aespa poured out all their energy, and fans responded with mass singing, heating up Tokyo Dome.
After the main performance ended, the members who appeared for the encore rode a mini car with the aespa logo through the fans and delivered a final farewell by singing "Sun and Moon" and "Live My Life."
With only the final song left, Karina said, "It was an honor to spend the final moments of the tour with you at Tokyo Dome. You know that aespa exists because of My, right?" and added, "Thanks to you, it was a happy time. Please continue to support aespa a lot," promising a next time.
Winter also greeted fans, saying, "The time I always spend with My is like a dream. Thank you so much for always brightly lighting up such large venues. We will have the Japan fan meeting we revealed yesterday, our second full album, and new gifts coming up, so please look forward to them. I love you."
Ningning said, "We will continue to be aespa that works hard and does our best so that the love you have sent us is not wasted. I sincerely thank you for being with us. I was truly happy, and I'm so happy that every time we perform at Tokyo Dome the seats are packed. My always cheer passionately and are with us, so thank you so much," adding that the members decorated their final Tokyo Dome stage by performing "To The Girls" as the last song.
Meanwhile, having finished the Tokyo Dome performance, aespa will continue activities by releasing their second full album "LEMONADE" on May 29.
