aespa wrapped up its Japan dome tour amid a "syndromic" level of excitement.
aespa held "2026 aespa LIVE TOUR - SYNK : aeXIS LINE - in JAPAN [SPECIAL EDITION DOME TOUR]" at Tokyo Dome in Japan on Apr. 25 and 26.
aespa began last August with a performance at Seoul Olympic Park KSPO DOME and then toured major Japanese regions including Fukuoka, Tokyo, Aichi and Osaka with arena shows of about 10,000 seats each, and toured across Asia including Bangkok, Hong Kong, Macao and Jakarta. In addition, they proved their overwhelming ticket power by holding a total of 25 shows including Kyocera Dome and Tokyo Dome, drawing 76,000 people over two days at Kyocera Dome in their first appearance there and 94,000 at Tokyo Dome, meeting a total of 170,000 spectators from this dome tour alone.
aespa signaled the full start with their signature song "Armageddon," followed by intense performances of "ATTITUDE" and "Kill It" to open the show. aespa, performing at Tokyo Dome for the third time since debut, greeted the audience as a group and looked affectionately at fans while sharing their thoughts.
First, Karina said, "It's already the last day. From Kyocera Dome to Tokyo Dome, we've performed with the intention of showing the most aespa-like selves. Today we'll properly show what we do best." Winter also expressed regret that it was the last day at Tokyo Dome and said, "We're going to pour even our regrets into the stage today. Please enjoy it with us."
aespa raised the heat at Tokyo Dome by performing "Drift" and "Dirty Work," and after Karina appeared in a school uniform, solo stages followed with Ningning, Winter and Giselle. In addition, unit stages continued to heat up Tokyo Dome, including Karina and Winter's sexy "Serenade" and Giselle and Ningning's pink, dreamy "Lollipop."
Winter said of the unit song "Serenade," "As a special edition song, it's the first unit song we've done since debut, so we also had a lot of fun working on it. We prepared it for you, but it became a really precious experience for us too, so I'm very happy."
Ningning said of the duet "Lollipop" she sang with Giselle, "Giselle unni and I made it at a hotel during the 2024 tour. We liked the melody and the mood of the song so much that we thought we'd finish it later and show it to you, and I'm so, so happy we could present it at Tokyo Dome," adding, "We'll bring you more good songs in the future," raising expectations.
aespa changed the mood and continued with the lively songs "Hot Air Balloon" and "Bubble," and the members especially rode a torrotto to get close to fans and continued interacting with them.
aespa followed performances emphasizing their distinctive "metallic" edge with immersive VCR videos and an overwhelmingly scaled setlist, once again proving why they boast syndromic-level popularity. Especially during the hit parade of "Rich Man," "Next Level," "Supernova" and "Whiplash," aespa unleashed all their energy, and fans responded with mass singing, heating up Tokyo Dome.
After the main performance ended, the members returned for an encore, drove between fans in a mini car with the aespa logo and delivered final greetings while singing "Sun and Moon" and "Live My Life."
With only the last song remaining, Karina said, "It was an honor to spend the end of the tour with you at Tokyo Dome. You know that aespa exists because of Myes, right?" and added, "Thanks to you, it was a happy time. Please continue to cheer for aespa a lot," promising a next time.
Winter also said, "The time I always spend with My fans feels like a dream. Thank you so much for always brightening up such big venues. We will have the Japan fan meeting we announced yesterday, our second full album, and new gifts to come, so please look forward to them. I love you," she said.
Ningning said, "We will continue to do our best so that the love you have given us is not wasted. Thank you sincerely for being with us. I was really happy, and every time I perform at Tokyo Dome I'm so happy because of the packed seats. Myes, thank you so much for always cheering passionately and being with us," she said. Finally, the members decorated the final stage at Tokyo Dome by singing "To The Girls" as the last song.
Meanwhile, after completing the Tokyo Dome shows, aespa will continue activities by releasing their second full album "LEMONADE" on May 29.
