Female two-member band OmO (Omo) returns with a deeper musical message and a powerful sound.
According to record label Rockstar Music & Live, OmO today (27th) at 6 p.m. will suddenly released their sixth single 'Rebler (REBEL+ER)' through various online music sites. The new release comes about five months after 'Hommage', which was released last November, delighting fans.
The new song 'Rebler' is a track that heavily revisits the meaning of the ideals and convictions we should pursue in a chaotic world where good and evil coexist. In particular, it depicts the inner conflicts and growth of completing one's true self only by acknowledging and accepting the 'evil' that is part of oneself, rather than simply pursuing goodness.
The members directly participated in producing and arranging, deeply imprinting OmO's own color. The intensely driving band sound and lyrics filled with a desperate yet beautiful will to hold on to ideals even amid an anxious self are expected to give listeners a deep thrill.
The two-member band OmO, composed of vocalist Seohyun and keyboardist Kim Ji-eun, has built a solid musical worldview since their 2023 debut single 'Hatsukoi', releasing a variety of emotionally rich songs such as '30 Days', 'Camelia' and 'Sprinter'.
