QWER (QWER) opens the door to a new musical chapter with a bold resolution.
QWER (Chodan, Magenta, Hina, Siyeon) will release their fourth mini album CEREMONY on the 27th at 6 p.m. on various online music sites and begin full-fledged comeback activities.
The title track of the same name, "CEREMONY," is a song that commemorates and celebrates the firm determination to break free from the standardized molds set by society and live fully as oneself. QWER's signature bouncy, refreshing band sound combined with a hopeful and positive message is expected to give listeners a pleasant energy.
The music video, which lifts the veil along with the song, also promises complete immersion. It portrays like a film the journey of QWER members who crash-landed into an unknown space separated from the real world for an unexpected reason and struggle to return to their original world. In particular, a hidden twist in the latter part of the film is expected to capture fans' attention.
The album includes a total of five well-packed tracks including the title track. Diverse genres prove QWER's expanded musical spectrum, including "BAD HABIT," which captures a confident charm unbound by others' gazes; "Bunny Bunny," which portrays the object one wants to meet even in dreams with the cute nickname "Bunny"; "Our Voyage," which offers warm consolation that a shining tomorrow will come if together despite anxiety; and "PIONEER," which contains the pioneer's confidence toward a new chapter.
The new release CEREMONY is a meaningful album that successfully concludes QWER's first chapter, which ran nonstop from their debut single Harmony from Discord to their previous album, mini third album I'm on your side, even if the whole world is discordant, and announces a dazzling leap to the next stage. As the album title "식" (ceremony) suggests, it contains a coming‑of‑age narrative about finding a clear team identity and individual self. Above all, all members actively participated in the songwriting, fully demonstrating their evolved capabilities as artists.
Proving limitless growth and emerging as new pioneers of the band scene, QWER's fourth mini album CEREMONY can be heard on all music platforms from 6 p.m. today (the 27th).
