The leader of the group Resurrection, Kim Tae-won, revealed his long hiatus and worsening health, sharing sad recent news. He appeared gaunt but greeted fans warmly, and support has continued.
On the 24th, the YouTube channel "Kim Tae-won Class" released a video titled "Daughter's wedding, father's last.. and Resurrection."
In the video, Kim Tae-won said, "I returned because you missed me. Thank you so much for keeping your loyalty. I always love you," greeting fans after a long time.
When the production team said, "There were many comments asking where you went," Kim Tae-won candidly replied, "I wanted to create and release new music, but I broke my promises too many times. It was a period of hesitation."
When asked about his health, he cautiously answered, "It's awkward to say, but I was hospitalized four times," surprising everyone.
Earlier, Kim Tae-won said the reason it took 13 years to release Resurrection's 14th full album was also because of health problems. He recalled the tense time, saying, "I was hospitalized about four times due to shock. When shock hits, you lose consciousness. It's a frightening thing."
He also confessed, "There were times I felt like members might leave," conveying the fear he felt while fighting illness. But he added, "They waited through it, and now the 14th album is being released," expressing deep gratitude to the members who stayed by his side for a long time.
In the video, Kim Tae-won looked thinner than before but reassured fans with his characteristic calm smile and warm greeting.
