Actor Ahn Hyo Seop expressed his feelings about gaining great popularity from Netflix's K-pop Demon Hunters.
On the 26th, the YouTube channel Yojung Jaehyung posted a video titled "Today I'm setting my face just so and leaving."
Ahn Hyo Seop, who said he was cast in K-pop Demon Hunters thanks to his English acting in the drama Business Proposal, said, "What I thought was, 'Ah, this is why you have to live diligently. Anything. You never know where an opportunity will come from.'"
He continued, "At that time I just did it. Because it was in the script," and added, "But Megi Kang, the director of K-pop Demon Hunters, said she really watched a lot of (voice actor) auditions. She watched many auditions for the role of Jinwoo's voice but was in a bit of a stuck situation. But by chance she watched Business Proposal and saw me there and liked what she saw."
He also said frankly, "Honestly, I didn't know K-pop Demon Hunters would do this well. Of course I thought it was fun. I really thought I should humbly and diligently do all my work," adding, "Everything is connected. So I felt that all the efforts I made and the processes I went through were, as I believed, precious."
