The group Ampers&One (AMPERS&ONE) captivated fans by showcasing a bouncy surprise variety sensibility through self-produced content commemorating their new release.
Ampers&One released two variety-style self-produced videos consecutively on their official YouTube channel on the 23rd and 25th. These videos were filled with entertaining custom games that used the title track "GOD (갓)" and the track "뭐라는 거야 (What You Talking About)" from the mini fourth album 'DEFINITION(데피니션)', which was released on the 8th.
In the first released video, the members performed a mission in which they could not stop an endless talent show until someone shouted "Oh my 'GOD'." Makaya, who went first, boldly proclaimed an undefeated rock-paper-scissors record but was instantly defeated by Brian, provoking big laughs from the start. The members then presented an outlandish relay of animal imitations, including spinning an elephant trunk 20 times quickly, a monkey with its butt on fire, and a pig tripping while chasing a friend. Their struggling attempts caught in the seemingly endless loop of the talent show added great amusement.
In the second piece of content, a situational skit contest unfolded in which contestants had to answer only "뭐라는 거야" to any persistent question from the opponent. The members, who know each other better than anyone, drew laughter with relentless absurd attacks and punchy back-and-forth exchanges, cementing their position as "the next-generation variety idols." Even amid fiercely spicy banter, they showcased Ampers&One's tight teamwork by sharing warm hugs and handshakes at the end of each round.
With a friendly and cheerful charm 180 degrees different from their intense stage performances, Ampers&One accurately targeted global fans' hearts and are achieving remarkable results in their main work as well.
Their mini fourth album 'DEFINITION' ranked No. 1 on Hanteo Chart's daily album chart and No. 2 on Circle Chart's retail album chart on its release day, and easily surpassed first-week sales of 150,000 copies, setting a personal best (career high). Beyond Korea, they have continued an unstoppable global rise, receiving focused coverage from prominent overseas media such as EnVi Media, Sweety High, and EARMILK.
