Actor Ki Tae-young is mourning the loss of his father, and his acceptance speech in which he mentioned the father who had always been a steadfast support is being reexamined.
On the 26th, his agency InCompany said, "We solemnly inform you that Ki Tae-young's father, Kim In-su, passed away on the 25th at the age of 82."
The mourning hall has been set up in room 17 of the Seoul Samsung Hospital funeral home, and the funeral service will be held on Monday, the 27th at 10 a.m. The burial site is Yongin Park Honestone.
Ki Tae-young, his wife Eugene and their two daughters, Ro-hee and Ro-rin, are listed as the bereaved family. Ki Tae-young and Eugene are spending time mourning with family, and the funeral will be conducted quietly with family and close relatives. The agency said, "At the request of the bereaved family, the funeral will be held privately, so we ask for your understanding."
Born in 1978, Ki Tae-young grew up with his parents, an older brother and two older sisters. Ki Tae-young debuted in 1997 on the KBS drama New Generation Report in "Adults don't know" and appeared in dramas such as "Three Men and Three Women," "Earth warrior Vectorman," "School 2," "KAIST," "White Tower," "Mom is angry," "Making connections," "Jejungwon," "Royal Family," "To the beautiful you," "Tell me your wish," "My golden life," "Trolley" and films including "Between," "Today," "Hangang Blues," and "Yangyang."

This aspect of Ki Tae-young seems to resemble his father. The agency said, "The deceased always showed warm love and lived a devoted life for his family and neighbors."
Ki Tae-young also expressed gratitude toward his father. At the 2019 KBS Drama Awards, after winning the excellence award for a man in the long-form drama category for My golden life, he choked up and said, "Whenever it was hard, I think I kept going thinking of my father and mother."
