She added, "The third and fourth in the middle are the hardest. I wanted to give up then. Give up on life. I just didn't want to do it," confessing the mental and physical limits she experienced during chemotherapy. Fortunately, she said she is now fully recovered and healthy, reassuring Lee Sora.
That day Lee Sora also mentioned the 'loyalty' Hong Jin Kyung quietly kept even while battling cancer. Lee Sora said, "The kids. You kept taking care of Hwanhee and Junhee," expressing deep respect for Hong Jin Kyung, who has been steadily caring for the late Choi Jin-sil's children.
Asked what mindset she has when taking care of the children, Hong Jin Kyung answered, "I couldn't meet them that often or take care of them a lot either, but I started with the thought that we should do it steadily. I tried to be steadily by their side. So they could come to me if something happened," which drew attention.
