Actor Yu Su-bin revealed her friendship with IU and Lee Yeon.
On the 24th episode of MBC variety show I Live Alone (hereinafter I Live Alone), episode 644, the close relationship between actors Yu Su-bin, IU and Lee Yeon, who grew closer while filming the MBC drama Perfect Crown, drew attention.
That day Yu Su-bin met Lee Yeon first at the meeting place. He said, "Lee Yeon and I have a three-year age gap and are like an older brother and younger sibling," and introduced her, saying, "She is my stylish friend who is like the baby of the group, but sometimes like an older sister."
Yu Su-bin and Lee Yeon agreed, saying, "We think we mixed up the restaurant reservation time, so we might have to walk a bit," and when IU arrived they explained as planned.
Yu Su-bin said, "IU is one year apart from me, so we are like friends; when we met frequently, we got together once every one to two weeks," and added, "(Because IU) is really a homebody, when we meet I try to make her exercise."
After their cherry blossom walk, the three soon headed to a restaurant. There, IU began, "Not long ago my mom and dad were so grateful to the two of them for coming to the funeral."
Yu Su-bin explained, "IU's maternal grandfather passed away," and IU said, "Among my friends, they were almost the only two who came. I was moved that you came at once," drawing sympathy.
IU explained, "When they came, both of them had brought chocolate. Maengdal (Yu Su-bin) had packed the chocolates by flavor into zipper bags. That helped because the mourners were tired. It was really a great help to me. Later Yeon arrived and she had brought chocolate too."
IU said, "At that time my mom and dad told Maengdal (Yu Su-bin) that he is really handsome in person," and teased with a laugh, "When I tell that story he likes it so much."
