CORTIS is making a splash on the global charts. The title track of their mini album 2, "REDRED," ranked 140th on Spotify's daily top songs global chart for the 23rd. That is significant because it rose 44 spots from the previous day.
CORTIS on the 20th first released the title track "REDRED" from the mini album 2 "GREENGREEN." The song expresses the direction the team pursues as "green" and what they distance themselves from as "red," featuring rough electronic sounds, repetitive and catchy beats, and an addictive melody that offers a distinctive charm.
"REDRED" showed a definite presence on global charts immediately after its release and received a strong response. On Spotify it was streamed 1,314,820 times on the day of release alone, and it has been recording steady growth. Around 4 p.m. on the 25th, cumulative views surpassed 9 million.
In addition, it ranked second on Apple Music's "Today's Top 100: Korea," and it proved its influence by entering the new song chart of China's largest music streaming platform QQ Music for five consecutive days.
CORTIS is drawing even more attention by showing a steep rise in the global market just eight months after debut.
After the pre-release of "REDRED," CORTIS will officially release the mini album 2 "GREENGREEN" on May 4.
