"The Absolute Value of Romance" OST's second contributor is girl group Say My Name and singer 16.
Today (25th) at noon on various music sites, Say My Name and singer 16 release the Coupang Play series "The Absolute Value of Romance" OST part 2 "Sweet & Sour".
"The Absolute Value of Romance" is a high-teen comedy series about a high school girl who wrote romance novels featuring handsome teachers as protagonists and who, when she meets them in unexpected moments in reality, becomes the main character of a tumultuous school life. Actress Kim Hyang-gi, who has shown her presence with stable acting from her child actor days, plays Ye Eui-ju, a high school girl who is a BL writer, and stars as the protagonist.
In addition, VIXX member and actor Cha Hak-yeon plays the male lead Ga Woo-su, N.Flying drummer Kim Jae-hyun plays Noh Da-ju, actor Son Jeong-hyeok plays Jeong Ki-jeon, and actor Kim Dong-gyu plays Yoon Dong-ju. They appear as four handsome teachers living next door to Ye Eui-ju, showing performances that travel between Ye Eui-ju's imagined BL and the real high school youth romance.
Among them, the Say My Name–sung "Sweet & Sour" expresses the loveliness of the youth story in Ye Eui-ju's imagination in a sweet-and-sour atmosphere, as the title suggests. It is an upbeat house-genre song that will enrich the drama. In particular, this song is released in two versions sung separately by Say My Name and 16, adding to the listening pleasure. Say My Name's unique bright tone and lively atmosphere, and the other version sung by 16, who directed the composition of "Sweet & Sour," stimulate curiosity about what reaction they will provoke.
In addition, Say My Name plans to release a sketch music video and challenge video that capture the recording scene of "Sweet & Sour." <
