The "3rd Superhero Concert" that will color Labor Day magnificently has declared war on illegal ticket transactions ahead of the performance.
Marvelous Music, the concert producer, announced a strong response policy regarding fraudulent ticket transaction activities that have been rampant online in relation to the "Labor Day commemorative 3rd Superhero Concert" to be held May 1 at the Yi Sun-sin Sports Complex.
Recently on online communities, various used-item transaction platforms and social media, attempts have been detected to sell free tickets to this concert for a fee or to trade them with large premiums, raising fans' concerns.
Marvelous Music emphasized, "This concert is a 'free invitation concert' planned so that workers and citizens of Chungcheongnam-do and Asan can enjoy it together on Labor Day," and noted, "Any form of paid or unpaid resale is a fraudulent act that undermines the original purpose of the concert."
The producer issued a stern warning to prevent harm to audience members. A representative said, "The act of transacting free invitation tickets for monetary gain is clearly a fraudulent transaction," and added, "We are collecting evidence of transaction circumstances through real-time monitoring, and after legal review we will take strong legal action including civil and criminal measures."
They suggested that punishment is possible under relevant laws if damage occurs due to scalping or fraudulent transactions. The organizers plan to respond with a "zero-tolerance policy," including immediately invalidating detected illegal tickets and considering on-site admission restrictions.
They also urged fans to be especially careful and to actively report incidents, saying, "The organizers are not responsible for damages arising from private transactions outside official channels."
