Lee Kyung-sil continued, "An article came out about the eggs, and it was when my son had gone to the military that he was a representative of the eggs. A soldier must not profit from a business. They attacked me over that," she said. The situation grew because her son Son Bo-seung enlisted in the military later than expected, and with public sentiment intertwined with military issues, it became an unavoidable matter.
Lee Kyung-sil said, "I am truly sorry, but not a single won has ever gone into my son's bank account. But because public opinion was like that, he was investigated by the Ministry of National Defense. It was ruled no charges because he did not receive a single cent," surprising everyone.
