"Hangout With Yoo" raises expectations for another legendary episode in which Yang Sang-guk's return even flusters Yu Jae-seok.
Tonight (25th) on the MBC variety show Hangout With Yoo (abbreviated Hangout), Yu Jae-seok, HaHa, Heo Kyunghwan and Joo Woo-jae head to Tongyeong. There, they meet again with Yang Sang-guk, the "crown prince of Gimhae," to present "The war of money in Tongyeong."
Earlier, Hangout said the comedian Yang Sang-guk, who appeared as a guest in the "The war of money" series, received high praise. Episode 319 of Hangout, which featured the Seoul edition of "The war of money" announcing the first appearance of Yang Sang-guk, Heo Kyunghwan's brother who came to the city from the countryside, recorded a 4.9% rating (Nielsen Korea nationwide households) and was widely loved. Later, the Gimhae edition of "The war of money," filmed in Yang Sang-guk's hometown Gimhae, also recorded 4.8%, proving its popularity.
Riding that wave, Yang Sang-guk drew attention among Hangout listeners and even earned the nickname "crown prince of Gimhae." Returning to Hangout as the "crown prince of Gimhae," his reappearance in episode 323 of Hangout recorded 4.3%. With Heo Kyunghwan joining as a regular and Yang Sang-guk also receiving favorable responses, they seem to be treated like family by the Hangout crew.
Meanwhile, the Tongyeong edition of "The war of money" is being staged. The producers previewed a warlike mealtime for the five country bumpkin men. In particular, viewers can expect laughs as the Hangout members' competitiveness flares whenever a meal bet is on, all in a bid to avoid paying the bill.
The preview stills released before the broadcast captured those circumstances and added to the amusement. After tasting fresh seafood in the waters off Tongyeong, the Hangout members eat so ravenously they forget about money, while Yang Sang-guk keeps ordering the most expensive butter-grilled abalone. Yu Jae-seok even tries to sneak out of the restaurant to avoid paying, but is caught by his younger companions, prompting bursts of laughter.
"Hyung, are you shooting 'The Shawshank Redemption'?", "How much did you not want to pay?" the disappointed younger companions say, causing Yu Jae-seok to flush and play innocent. Hangout With Yoo's third "The war of money" piques curiosity.
