In Hangout With Yoo, Heo Kyunghwan provoked laughter with lower name recognition than Yang Sang-guk.
The MBC entertainment program Hangout With Yoo (abbreviated Hangout) broadcast on the evening of the 25th was presented as the "War of Money in Tongyeong" episode. The episode showed Hangout regular members Yu Jae-seok, Haha, Heo Kyunghwan and Joo Woo-jae visiting Tongyeong together with "Gimhae crown prince" Yang Sang-guk.
Tongyeong was Heo Kyunghwan's hometown. Accordingly, Heo Kyunghwan, who joined Hangout as a regular, appeared like a comet in front of the Tongyeong sea and explained his pride in his hometown as Tongyeong's star. Joo Woo-jae said, "Even though it's the same South Gyeongsang Province, it's different from Jinyoung Gimhae," and fell for the charm of the Tongyeong sea, the Naples of the East.
However, Heo Kyunghwan provoked laughter with lower name recognition than Yang Sang-guk. Although Heo Kyunghwan is the one from Tongyeong, everyone greeted Yang Sang-guk and said, "Yo-ye!"
In response, Yang Sang-guk joked, "I am Yang Sang-guk, son of Gyeongsang Province," and drew laughs. After Yang Sang-guk, the next to be greeted was not Heo Kyunghwan but the "national MC" Yu Jae-seok.
Heo Kyunghwan turned the atmosphere around by going to a regular restaurant known for local Tongyeong dishes ujjah and ppaettaegi porridge found only in Tongyeong. In the restaurant, Heo Kyunghwan's autograph hung on the wall, and the restaurant owner praised Heo Kyunghwan as "Tongyeong's son" and handed him the first meal, after which laughter returned and erupted.
